Remove power from the system 1.

and unplug the AC power cord

from the power supply.

Do not apply any thermal grease 2.

to the heatsink or the CPU die;

the required amount has already

been applied.

Place the heatsink on top of the 3.

holes are aligned with those

on the (preinstalled) heatsink

Screw in two diagonal screws (i.e. 4.

just snug. Do not fully tighten the
